Supporting Communities: Hercules Gazebo’s Pandemic Response

Almost everyone in the world, including New Zealanders, has faced challenges during the pandemic. For us, the most unforgettable moment was the initial lockdown. On March 24, the Prime Minister announced that New Zealand would enter lockdown within 48 hours. Businesses closed, and people were restricted to their homes. With limited information about the lockdown rules, there was widespread panic and long queues for food, as we were all unfamiliar with the coronavirus pandemic.

As the situation became more controlled, we gradually adapted to the new normal: wearing masks, sanitizing hands, maintaining social distance, shopping online, and greeting with elbow bumps. Another unforgettable aspect was the dedication of frontline workers, including those at international borders, emergency services, and district health boards, who risked their own safety to protect families in New Zealand. Their bravery and sacrifice are deeply appreciated and remembered.

We were deeply honored that Hercules Gazebo had the opportunity to contribute to such important efforts during the pandemic. In April 2020, upon learning that East Health Trust PHO in Auckland required a replacement for their stolen coronavirus testing tent, we moved swiftly to provide assistance. We proudly supplied the Botany Clinic with a new emergency tent, ensuring they could continue their crucial work without interruption.

We also assisted communities across both New Zealand and Australia, reinforcing our dedication to helping those in need during a time of crisis.

As a New Zealand-based business, we recognize the importance of fulfilling our social responsibility and giving back to the community. Our involvement in these initiatives reflects our values and our commitment to supporting the well-being of the communities we serve.

TRAFFIC LIGHT SYSTEM: we’re operating as normal, please wear a mask maintain social distancing, and don’t visit if you are unwell. a vaccine pass may be required for entry. please remember to bring your vaccine pass whenever you visit our local stores.

Deliveries:

We are delivering all orders as normal. You will receive an email notification about your order being shipped. If you have been sent confirmation of a delivery but have not yet received your order, you can check the status of your delivery using the link provided in that email. If you have any questions about your order, please get in touch with our customer service team who will assist where possible. Your order will experience a delay during COVID-19 alert levels 2, 3, 4. Store & Showroom:

Our stores are open to the general public with regular hours and service at COVID-19 alarm level 1 or level 2. We are monitoring the government policy closely and will update the website should any changes.
