Do I get a warranty?

A limited manufacturing warranty is on all new products from the date of original purchase that the product will be free from defect in material and workmanship. The length of the limited warranty may vary by product. The warranty is valid for the original purchaser from the date of initial purchase.

We can freight anywhere within New Zealand.

Is my payment secured on your website?

Your payment is 100% secured by worldwide online payment providers, Paypal and Poli pay. These credible payment providers help keeps your online transactions guarded from start to finish. Your full financial information will not be shared with us.

Can I pay by layby? What layby or finance is available?

Yes, you can. We provide many options of layby online and in-store for your payment convenience.

We provide a Laybuy payment option at online checkout. Humm(Oxipay), Q card long-term finance and Gem card finance are also available for in-store purchase. Afterpay is not available at the current stage. Please ensure you are a customer with these laybys or long-term financial services.

These financial services are a service independent of Hercules Instant Shelter and as such your payment obligations will lie with these service providers through the account you establish with them. If you have any queries in the future, please contact directly to the service providers.

What is the delivery cost?

For online shopping, the delivery cost is varied by order. To preview the shipping charges, please simply add the item you want to the shopping cart and continue steps to fill out your delivery address and details, the delivery cost will be calculated and show up at the checkout.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

Deliveries

We will normally send your order from our Auckland warehouse. Delivery time is dependent on our warehouse’s inventory levels. If an item is in-stock, we will dispatch the item out to you within 1-3 working days, after your order has been processed. (90% orders placed before 1 pm gets same day dispatch, bespoke product excluded.) Your order will be shipped to you mostly via Toll NZ and PBT Freight. And you will receive a confirmation email to confirm that your order has been shipped. All of our deliveries can be fully tracked on the website of Toll NZ and PBT freight.

Local deliveries (within Auckland). - Orders received before 1 pm will be dispatched that day. Delivery is usually 1-3 working days.
North Island - Orders received before 1 pm will be dispatched that day. Delivery is usually within 2-4 working days.
South Island - Orders received before 1 pm will be dispatched that day. Delivery is usually within 2-5 working days.
Rural Area Deliveries - Additional Delivery Fee may apply. May take 1-3 additional days.

Orders On Friday After 1 pm

Orders made after 1 pm on Friday will not be processed and dispatched until Monday.

Holiday Season, Public Holidays and Weekends

Our courier service does not deliver on weekends or Public holidays. During the peak holiday seasons please allow an extra 2 - 3 working days for delivery.

Out Of Stock

If the item is out of stock in our Auckland warehouse, but we still have its stock in one of our store branches in the country, we will send the item directly from the store to you without additional costs. If this is the case, the delivery may take a little longer. If the item you order is out of stock in the country, we will contact you for a solution.

Can I collect from a store?

Most of the online order is available to collect from our local branch in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

To collect in-store, place your order online as normal and select the "pick up" option instead of entering your delivery details, during the checkout process.

After placing your order, you will be contacted mostly via Email when your order is available to pick-up.

Products may only be picked up from a nearby store upon presentation of valid New Zealand photographic ID and an order number. Please ensure that the person you have named to pick-up the order shows one of the following forms of ID:

Out Of Stock

If the item is temporarily not available in a nearby store, but still in stock in one of our store branches in the country, it may need to transfer from another store. If this is the case, the delivery may take a little longer. If the item you order is out of stock in the country, we will contact you for a solution.

Will I receive a notification when my order is ready for pick up?

Yes, basically you will receive an email notification about your order has been successfully placed. Please check your spam box to avoid missing.

You will also be informed once your order is ready for collection, typically via email. If your order is temporarily sold out, we will also be in touch with you to discuss a solution.

We strongly recommend you contact us immediately if you wish to pick up your order as soon as possible.

How do I do if item arrives damaged or missing?

All of our items are checked before dispatch and leave our warehouse in perfect condition. If you receive your goods and they are damaged, do not take receipt of the goods or sign for them. The courier will then return the goods to us. The customer MUST notify us within 24 hours if this occurs. Failure to do so may result in the customer being liable for the goods. Pop Up Gazebo

What is pop up gazebo?

Pop-up Gazebos are designed for temporary event use. They are built in a portable shade structure, typically made from metal and constructed with a concertina system that allows for erection and fold-down in less time. Thanks to this feature, they are also convenient for packing in a carry bag for transport. This convenience makes the pop-up gazebo very different from a permanent structure that is likely to remain undisturbed for many years. If you are looking for a permanent shelter that can be anchored and located somewhere permanently, the pop-up gazebo is not the best option. Otherwise, pop-up gazebos are handy and perfect when you need a portable shade for the backyard, a sports game, a camping trip or trade events.

Are your gazebos easy to set up?

Yes! All of our Hercules gazebos are designed with a concertina system that allows for a quick setup. No tools or assembly is required. It is easy to pop up and fold down by the maximum number of two people. The fastest time for basic structure set-up can be in just 60 seconds!

Are your gazebos water proof and sun proof?

Hercules Gazebo is a trusted functional temporary shelter.

Our canopy and sidewall are made from the best quality imported fabrics and materials. High-density polyester fabric with 320g/m2 PVC coating tends to be strong, stretchy, and colourfast. Each gazebo is 100% waterproof, fire-resistant, and has guaranteed UV protection to 50 SPF. It’s A REAL PROTECTIVE shelter designed to withstand most of the weather conditions in New Zealand. You will feel confident that your family or your fellow will be comfortable, safe and proud of it.

Are your gazebos wind proof?

We're proud that our range of alloy gazebos are certified great-strength gazebos with the ability to stand against a range of wind speeds between 50kph and 80kph accordingly and based on models. Each alloy model comes with an individual wind-action engineering report.

However, it is NOT recommended leave the gazebo out in strong winds or unattended, otherwise, you need to take a risk of damage effect from mother nature. Never forget the power of nature and its effects.

Can I set up a pop up gazebo in high winds and heavy rains? or overnight unattended?

A pop-up gazebo is essentially designed for shade, not designed to withstand high wind speeds and heavy rains. It is super challenging if keep it erected in extreme weather no matter how prepared you are, as this can cause a gazebo serious damage.

We advise you never to assume that there is no wind and to make sure that your gazebo is always properly secured by pegs and guy ropes as well as gazebo weights. Particularly in the wet season, storms and gusts of wind often arise unexpectedly and without warning. Please never leave the gazebo outside unattended.

You should also take great care of the pop-up gazebo during the low-level rain, make sure water does not pond on the canopy, this will help prevent breakage and collapse from the weight of water.

Is a pop up gazebo better with side walls on or off in winds?

The gazebo side walls are great for privacy or shade but they can make your pop-up gazebo more susceptible to winds. Once the wind starts to pick up, you should open the side walls to prevent them from catching the wind. The side walls could act like a sail on a sailboat and cause your gazebo to slide across the ground.

If in some cases, such as during a 3-day tradeshow, you have to leave sides attached, it is advised to get your gazebo lowered down with four closed side walls and make sure it's always properly fastened, this will help keep your gazebo stay in position. If, on the other hand, you only have 3 sidewalls, it is crucial to pay special attention to the direction of the wind when positioning the sturdy outdoor canopy. If the wind enters directly underneath the gazebo, it is dangerous that the wind cannot find its way out and the gazebo is blown away.

What fabrics are available?

Our canopies & sidewalls are made from the best quality imported fabrics. We offer two different types of fabrics for our entire range of plain and custom-made gazebos, one of which is standard PVC coated polyester and the other is 100% Polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Polyester is the most common and cost-effective fabric used in the gazebo industry, while 100% PVC is a premium fabric which has better performance if your gazebo needs to be left up under the direct sun for a long period of time.

Every gazebo package includes a high-quality polyester canopy, 100% PVC fabric is available to upgrade at additional cost. *Black, White, Blue, Light Grey, Navy, Green and Red are standard colours, premium colours can be customized at additional cost.

How do the side wall attach to the canopy?

Side walls can be easily attached to the canopy with a 50mm wide Velcro strap on the edge of the canopy. Every wall has large Velcro strap that attaches to each other for a neat finish.

How big is the package? What should I do to get ready for my pick up?

The pop-up gazebos by Hercules Instant Shelter come in a folding size and are packed in a flat package, the general package size is about 160cm long by 30cm wide, they will fit into a vehicle while a front seat and all the back seats are down. Otherwise, a UTE or trailer is needed. The package is heavy and definitely requires two people to carry a gazebo.

Please note the package length of a 4m gazebo is about 210cm. Please check out the package dimensions and weights below before collection.

How do i anchor my gazebo?

A set of pegs & guy ropes is included in a standard gazebo package. Your gazebo must be secured to a fixed structure by using pegs and guy ropes to provide additional stability. This is essential to avoid wind damage. Further support can be achieved using leg weights, like sandbags and steel leg weights.

If my gazebo got accident, do you offer replacement or repairs?

We stock a comprehensive list of spare parts at low cost in case of damaged or loss.

Can I use your gazebo replacement for a gazebo from another supplier?

It is not recommended to use our gazebo replacement(roof or frame) for a gazebo from another supplier, as you will be responsible for the risk of damage if they don't fit properly.

If you really want to have our gazebo replacement used for a gazebo from another supplier, we would advise you to bring the existing gazebo to one of your nearest Hercules branches, our team members are friendly and happy to be of assistance for a fit-test.

Can I use a umbrella base from another supplier?

Please make sure you are getting a base which does fit properly with our outdoor umbrella, there should not have any loose when the umbrella is assembled to the base. The base should be heavy enough to against winds. Please understand we are not liable for any damage due to mis-assembly.
